Health Intention: Designing What You See to Get What You Want

You may be familiar with the saying ‘what you see is what you get’.  This phrase took on a whole new meaning for me when I did the research for my book.  I seriously have to say that I was blown away by the research that is available to document the power of a person’s intention to change their biology, DNA, health.  Visualizations can be customized using information from test results, your research and answers to the questions you ask your healthcare provider. The specific information associated with a diagnosis and a prognosis provides useful data to develop visualizations. You are a unique human being like no other person, and your DNA test results which reflect your uniqueness can be used to develop customized visualizations.

My client’s visualizations were customized using their personal health information.  The results have been amazing.

The information about your symptoms or condition and your research provides you with a basic understanding of your relevant body parts and systems and how they should normally function (e.g., anatomy, physiology, biochemistry). If you suffer from food allergies, TILT, EI, MCS, depression, migraines or other skewed body response physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually; my last post is a must read.

On a daily basis many people are triggered regularly by numerous triggers.  Believe it or not the triggers can be anything.  Your equivalent ‘little black box’ records real and perceived threats and history about many factors that have harmed you in the past.  In present day your body may mount a ‘skewed’ or abnormal response to similar triggers, real or perceived – leading to unwanted symptoms on any level.  Some triggers present physical symptoms while others may affect thinking, memory or brain chemistry. Some triggers send people into ballistic emotional responses.

You may know people who are affected by changes in barometric pressure, experiencing migraines or joint pain or others who are affected by the full moon. Why is every person not affected by changes in barometric pressure?

Using neuromuscularbiofeedback I have been able to assess my triggers on an ongoing basis and those of my clients, and work to stop or reprogram any ‘skewed’ or abnormal responses.  How do I do it?  There are several methods.  The best time to stop these triggered responses is to manage them during an episode or exposure.  Tapping sequences and changing the valuation that my and my clients’ body and brain have given the triggers, neutralizes them by changing the valuation over time.  Using these steps in combination with other holistic strategies I have been able to recover from EI, TILT, MCS, depression, food allergies and more.  It is also how I help clients to recover from unwanted trigger responses. HOW TO AVOID DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES: For ‘a healthier you’!

dangerousOver the years, my many client neuromuscularbiofeedback sessions have provided information that has helped clients to implement ‘stop, start and change’ strategies; ultimately resulting in improved health.  After clients sessions I provide followup emails to clients with research based information links that back up many of their ‘weak list‘ challenges. Weak challenges are often the result of the body’s inability to effectively detoxify certain substances, even natural substances. Weak challenges can also indicate allergies, harmful or toxic substances. Sometimes the items on the weak list indicate a challenge resulting from combining a food item with a medication (e.g. grapefruit).

If you have any type of health challenges, including allergies and gastrointestinal distress, proceed with caution before following the latest health trends.  Investigate before you proceed. Adding suspect items may add challenges that could interfer with the body’s natural and necessary communication, function, immunosurveillance and immunoresponse. Adding multiple items on a daily basis increases these health challenges.

Weakness to green tea:  Green tea is often on my client’s weak lists despite the fact that is found to have many health benefits.  My thoughts are that in the case of my clients, who usually come to me with major health challenges, is that it possibly challenges their liver’s already challenged detoxification pathways.

SKIN CANCER PREVENTION & PROTECTION: How I Stack My Odds!

healthyskinSkin cancer is on the rise.  It is a subject that I have tried very hard to avoid think about in recent years.  The reality is, we are all vulnerable.  More so if we spent years bathing in the sun or tanning beds. Because of the loss of a dear friend and my husband to melanoma in the past, and the recurring melanoma diagnoses over the years in our extended family; skin cancer it is upfront and personal for me. Those who know me know that I am constantly searching for information on cancer prevention and cancer therapies. As we all know prevention is the best insurance against receiving a skin cancer or any cancer diagnosis.  Have any suspicious, or moles that others consider suspicious, examined by a qualified healthcare practitioner. Below are the strategies that I have researched and implemented and recommend to my clients and those who ask.

STOP, START and CHANGE: Strategies for a healthier you this year!

Every new year usually comes with thoughts of ‘what do I need to stop, start or change’ for a healthier me? The possibilities are vast. Where do you begin? DANDELION ROOT: Found to Induce Melanoma and Other Cancer Cell Death

When we think of dandelions our thoughts go to ‘how do I eliminate those pesky invaders from my lawn”? Until I studied the medicinal benefits of herbs when I was very sick I had no respect for dandelions. Medicinal herbs have played a large role in my health recovery and I still use them regularly.  My favorite health promoting homemade tea mix contains milk thistle plant, cleavers and dandelion root. The goal in making your own tea mix is to use organic or wild crafted herbs where possible and definitely not herbs that have ever been sprayed or irradiated. Roasted dandelion root does not have the same medicinal properties as unroasted so do not waste your money on it if using it medicinally. Do not microwave your foods or beverages.

Research provides promising evidence that the abundant ‘gifts of nature’ provide cures for what ails us. If you have been following my posts you know that I am passionate about sharing research information on natural strategies that can kill cancer cells, especially melanoma. Cancer, of many types, has been a frequent visitor to our family over the years. Many of my clients have also been affected by cancer.

Following are just a few of the research studies carried out to evaluate dandelion root extract in cancer cell death.  From the conclusions it is obvious that adding dandelion root is a proactive cancer prevention and cancer fighting strategy.

Chemoresistant melanoma has become the most prevalent form of cancer for the 25-29 North American age demographic. A study carried out by the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Windsor shows that dandelion root extract (DRE) specifically and effectively induces apoptosis in human melanoma cells without inducing toxicity in noncancerous cells. 2. Deal with the toxins in your environment via a two part strategy:

First stop adding to your body pollution and second deal with existing body pollution. INDOOR AIR QUALITY: A Potential for Compromised Brain, Nervous System and Overall Health

Fall brings cooler temperatures yet maybe not cool enough to turn your furnace on. One of the challenges during the shoulder seasons of spring and fall is to maintain good indoor air quality. While a furnace is functioning there is usually a fresh air intake from the outside. During the shoulder seasons and for some all year, while you are using other forms of heating such as fireplaces, wood stoves, electric heaters (baseboards) or water boiler heating – your home is not receiving daily infusions of fresh air. The resulting accumulation of poor indoor air from painting, paint stripping, heating with kerosene heaters, cooking, daily activities or engaging in maintenance and hobby activities; can come with serious health challenges including compromised brain and nervous system function. To maintain optimum health it is important to lower the concentrations of indoor air pollutants in your home and to increase the amount of outdoor air coming indoors. So open your windows often, especially during shoulder seasons to clean your air and all year if your do not have a heating system with fresh indoor air intake. Run your furnace fan on auto to circulate the fresh air that you take in. Make sure your furnace has an external fresh air intake. Heavy metals are a serious concern and found to be responsible for many environmentally related illnesses.

I work with many clients who have various health challenges including compromised brain function and memory.
