Do you have a ‘healthier you’ wishlist? Are you convinced that you need to make changes of some kind to become healthier? Getting out of your comfort zone and trying something different – a requirement of change and improved health, can be a scary thing.
“If you keep doing the same thing, you will keep getting what you have already got”
If you are not recovering and your health is not improving significantly then it is time to change your approach. Fear may be your biggest obstacle requiring you to implement a paradigm shift.
So what is stopping you from taking that step to greater health? What are you afraid of? Many people have to lose a loved one or hit a ‘brick wall’ in the form of a diagnosis or prognosis; before they are ready to make the required changes. A little fear can go a long way in initiating change. What will it take for you to make the changes necessary to improve your health? Will it be soon enough?
“In 2014, there will be an estimated 1,665,540 new cancer cases diagnosed and 585,720 cancer deaths in the US. Cancer remains the second most common cause of death in the US, accounting for nearly 1 of every 4 deaths”. http://www.cancer.org/
“An estimated 191,300 new cases of cancer and 76,600 deaths from cancer will occur in Canada in 2014. (The number of estimated new cases does not include 76,100 new non-melanoma skin cancer cases.) Cancer is the leading cause of death in Canada and is responsible for 30% of all deaths.” http://www.cancer.ca/en/cancer-information/cancer-101/cancer-statistics-at-a-glance/?region=on#ixzz33209e000
According to ‘the butterfly principle’ seemingly insignificant choices cause changes which lead to significant outcomes. Any changes you make in your present way of thinking, living and being have the potential to lead to significant improvements in your health and life. Is your resistance to change due to your acceptance of your diagnosis or prognosis?
Dictionary definition of acceptance:
‘the act of assenting or believing: acceptance of a theory’.
Let me help you to achieve your well-being goals and stack your odds in terms of cancer and disease prevention and recovery. There is no better time than now to take that uncomfortable step and embrace change – the first step in your quest for ‘a healthier you’.

Gerda Hammond commented on the upcoming EMBRACING CHANGE Retreat: “Looking forward to the workshop! Manifesting change in my life started with letting go of old beliefs and embracing new ways of thinking. Doing things differently, I am becoming a truer version of myself. Believing in the power of my body to heal itself has been difficult, but knowing power is not equal to force, changes everything. By observing nature and intuitions, life flows. I would recommend you take the step to opening your mind to changing the way you look at life and be part of the upcoming workshop. You can have a healthier and more fulfilling life, but it requires making a conscious decision to move forward in a different unconventional direction. You are in the drivers seat and Elisabeth Hines will help you with your journey to well being one step at a time. Regardless of your challenges, this workshop will give you something to think about and hopefully give you the courage to move forward to joyful living.”
“That butterfly reminds me of the crippling caterpillar phobia I had for over 50 years. When you fear something you see them everywhere and it was so embarrassing and crippling. Thanks Elisabeth for curing me. I know you don’t want to take the credit but if I hadn’t met you I would not have been ‘cured’. I sound like a broken record but I can actually touch these creatures now and be amazed I can do that!!! If I could I would send anyone with a phobia to you.”
