HOW TO AVOID DANGEROUS TOXINS: For ‘a healthier you’!

dangerousOver the years, my many client neuromuscularbiofeedback sessions have provided information that has helped clients to implement ‘stop, start and change’ strategies; ultimately resulting in improved health.  After clients sessions I provide followup emails to clients with research based information links that backs up many of their ‘weak list‘ challenges. Weak challenges are often the result of the body’s inability to effectively detoxify certain substances, even natural substances.

Clients are also often weak to their drinking water, personal care products, feminine hygiene products and air pollution.

How do you know what to avoid?  

A weak list assessment is a valuable tool to provide you with a ‘weak list’ of foods and other items that your body is unable to tolerate (possibly detoxify)

GASTROINTESTINAL DISTRESS: The Quest For Symptom Relief

There was a time when I was doubled over in agony every time I ate. It took me years of trial and error strategies and research to get to where I am today, free of all food allergies and gastrointestinal distress.  At one time I reacted to every food and chemical, many of them causing me gastrointestinal distress. Food allergy testing showed reactions immediate and delayed to more than 88 foods.

Symptom relief was crucial to being able to function on a daily basis as I had a young family to take care of. To achieve 100% elimination of my gastrointestinal distress I had to look deeper and deal with the underlying issues. Symptoms are only the ‘tip of the iceberg’. The underlying ‘base of the iceberg’ issues must be resolved to achieve 100% symptom relief. Symptomatic relief is a ‘band aid’ not a solution!

There are many additional possible underlying causes such as endocrine disruption, emotional trauma and associations. Underlying causes can all be remedied by following the recommendations in my holistic protocol in my book below.

Buffered Vitamin C — Your first line of defence against a food reaction is Buffered Vitamin C in powdered form. Mix one teaspoon of the powder in a glass of water. Drink. If there is no relief or improvement in 15 minutes, try the following remedy:  

Baking Soda — Mix one teaspoon in a glass of water. Drink. This will provide relief in almost all cases of food reactions.  (I recommend starting with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon.)

Alka Seltzer Gold   A natural antacid   

DGL “de-glycyrrhizinated” licorice root,  is used for conditions of the digestive tract, such as ulcers ” (I used a lot of this for GI relief)
